Kapwa means "fellow human". When we live for the collective, we appreciate the interconnectedness of all beings. Inspired by the tattooing tradition of the Kalinga tribe in the Cordillera region of Luzon, this hand illustrated ornament depicts the  pattern for weaves or rice fields. It symbolizes fertility, abundance, community and ancestors.
